Couldn't even sleep until 4:30am die isomnia, die! but that doesn't seem to matter today. I've got my first proper antenatal ward shift this week and I'm really looking forward to actually being busy ... and maybe stealing people's blood.

Screw insomnia. If only I were vaguely tired right now it would be okay. I wonder if it's possible for someone with insomnia to get jet lag? Do you get less or more tired? Do you actually sleep?

Oh. My. God.

Caffeine has ruined my life. I'm actually running around the livingroom making toast at ten to four in the morning. I need some serious help.

More than that - I need to stay the hell away from caffeinated substances.
