a welcome addition for two lovely friends
For all of you who've been itching to slap me for being such a cryptic midwife the last week, you'll find details forthcoming at frzn_mmnt's journal over the next few days as she recovers from her initial sleep deprivation.
Suffice to say, the world was made brighter on Wednesday by the arrival of a little soul called Aerin Maryrose to adoring parents.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to say that I can't remember ever seeing a labouring woman show such backbone and strength in the face of some less-than-helpful doctors, or such instinctive birthing and breastfeeding. I truly am in awe of frzn_mmnt ... there was something divine in the way she brought her daughter into the world ... something truly, truly divine.
And as for her doting other half - I don't think he'll ever stop talking about how fabulous it was ... and nor should he, the crazy cat. He was so present the whole time ... so loving every minute of it.
This is going to be one cherished child.
