its been exactly a month since I quit my last job, I finally got hired at another, thank fucking god. I have been hired at the Oregon Zoo, I'll be firstly working as a kitchen staff member. aparently their goal is to try to train as many of their employees to perform in as many various positions as possible, so seeing as I have plenty of cashiering experience, hopefully it'll lead to a nice niche at the Zoo with plenty of hours.
I've been well, broke, but well. I've had between 5-20 dollars in my pocket basically since I got the pictures back from Vegas, fluctuating only because I've been selling a bunch of my CD's in the hopes I'd find a job in time to pay this next months rent before having to make that dreaded call home. well I finally got that job, but there's no way I'll get my first check in time, nor, I'm sure, would it be enough, so I had to make that call anyway, luckily my aunt is cool and is always willing to help me out without giving me shit about it, even though this is the first time I've ever taken her up on her willingness, I didn't ask my dad this time cause that just makes me feel like shit, and I know he'd give me shit about it, if not directly to me, to my brother, I was on the brink of trying to sell some of my camera stuff, but that would have been the last resort, I'm running out of CD's to sell
Wednesday I have Orientation at the Zoo, I know I'll be taking another trip to the music store to sell off some more CD's, maybe pick out a few DVD's(next in line before the camera stuff), I guess after the Orientation they'll be offering the Food Handlers class and test, so that's cool cause I 'll need the Food Handlers Certificate for Oregon, not that I've ever had one in any state I've worked in, but its required
I can't wait to get some shit started again, I don't know, I know I'm typically a shy guy and don't interact much with people, but for some reason guest services type of positions always go well with me, when I'm working with people and customers, its wierd
