wide awake
so its about 420 in the am, went to the weight room finally after several weeks of not having gone, I'd only been telling myself to go in again the past few days, but I'd been getting lazy, so I finaly went in again, listened to some Johnny cash in there, then some Damned, and figured I'd watch some TV, havn't seen any TV in quite sometime. There was something on the Discovery chanel about Granada, I never knew much about it, so I figured I'd watch, learn something, during the comercials I changed it, found the history chanel, there was something about the US navy chasing a slave ship so I watched that(it was all about catching slave traders in the 1860's or something) then when that ended something about "Real Carribean Pirates" so of course I had to watch the few minutes of that, but by then, I'd already been in there about 2 hours, so I decided to leave, now I've just been dicking around online, made myself some food, leftovers really, and now its 425 in the am, and I'm wondering if I'm even gunna get to sleep before sunrise
on another note, I had a job interview at a restaurant in downtown portland, apparently the place just wentunder new ownership and they want to change the place up a bit, lively it up, sounds good, I kinda hope I can be a part of that new beginning, grow with them, on my way home from that interview I decided to check my email from my phone as I do from time to time, and saw that I had an invitation to a group interview on wednesday at the Portland Zoo, I don't even know for what postion, I just said in the application that I have about 6 years EXP behind a register, 2 of those in a store at a theme park, and 3 years behind a grill, so like I said, I don't really know what position they're interviewing me for, but what ever, its closer to home than the downtown position,
I'm hoping to hear back from the restaurant by monday, I feel good about both places, their both bound to be better than my last job at that warehouse/bag plant, and hopefully they might even pay as well, though I doubt that, hopefully, one way or the other I can start ASAP, so that I can get PAYED ASAP, the plus side to the restaurant would be that I'd have the small "daily" income from tips, at least enough to cover trips on the Max to and from work till I can afford a pass
