So much stuff
So much is going on this week, and I had a burst of confidence for biochem so I'm taking a wee bit of a break for studying.
Rocco died of congenital heart failure on Sunday at noon. I can't even begin to describe my grief and the lack of it hitting me yet, because of my three midterms and essay this week I haven't allowed myself the time. Rocco was so young, and such a perfect cat, although I'm sure all of you know how in love with him I was, so this is unnecessary to really go into any much of detail.
Good things:
a) NINE INCH NAILS/QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE/DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979!!!!! Mike got me a ticket to this show in Boston and we're going on Tuesday. AHHHHHH! This is going to be ammmmmazing!!!!!!!
b) My boss wrote me an email today thanking me for my thank you card and asking me if I wanted to work in her lab AS A FRIGGEN GRAD STUDENT. YESSSSS! Although I don't want to stay in CT, this means I basically have a sure thing for after college. I might attend school with Nrod after all!
Ok back to cramming in details such as the F8 Histidine residue is the 5th ligand of Fe2+ in hemoglobin. Sigh.
