Though I'm not quite done yet. I've accomplished one wristwarmer, and it was most certainly the most complicated pattern thing I've tried yet! I learned a lot about cabling and following a pattern in this one, by golly. ( Tadaaah! )

Other than tweaking the fringe (to fill it out some more and get the length right), I'm pretty much done with my version of Rose's "Boom Town" scarf. It's been an interesting challenge since a friend asked me to make this for her!

I finally took photos of the finished pair of wrist warmers! I have started a second pair. The new pair will have wider ribbing at the bottom and I think I will do more rows on the thumb part.

I am also writing the pattern :)

Sorry, no photos this time, but I have just finished the 2nd diamond of my crocheted Doomsday Wrist Warmers, Left mitt. The one that I posted in my last update was the right one.

Well, I have the first of my crocheted version of the Wrist Warmers done and I think that I am pretty happy with it. It used one whole ball of Patons Grace cotton yarn (1 3/4 oz), the only thing is that I think that maybe the cotton is too stiff right now, but it might soften with washing. I think for my next crocheted pair, I'll use either Bernat ( Read more... )
