"Let's take control and be ourselves..."

Well everyone, it was another great weekend I must say. YAY! I will now tell you about it. Friday was the Lemming Race, so Kristin, Alison, Mallory and I watched it. For those of you who don't know, the Lemming Race is a tradition that was started here at Central College a LONG time ago. Basically people get really drunk (not everyone, but a good chunk of them), dress up in strange costumes, meet at the library, run partway across campus and into the pond. I have never been a part of this tradition, but I think I'll do it senior year. So that was really funny, the costumes were hilarious, we saw Buddy the Elf, Jesus and many very strange things. After that I had a SWE (Symphonic Wind Ensemble) concert, it went really well so I was pleased. Afterwards I went down to Stauffer (one of the honor's houses) to meet Kristin and Matt. It was kind of a weird situation at first because people were drunk and what not, but it was a lot of fun. We went to Arby's and I got some curly fries, so when we got back to Stauffer Kristin and I were being kinda nerdy drinking our milkshake and pop with nothing "extra" added in, but people were really cool about it, I was surprised. Kristin and I had to leave somewhat early because my rash was starting to come (AHH!) so Matt came back with us and we met Tom (Allison's friend), it was fun, he is a good looking kid :-). Then on Saturday Kristin and I worked at Carroll's Pumpkin Farm from 11-5, it was fun, kinda busy, but at least we made some $$. Then Saturday night Nathan (Kristin's friend from high school and my friend) came to visit us. We went to Jordan Creek (Mall) and then to Applebee's (MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE and Nathan's too). Afterwards we came back to P-town and just hung around in our room for a bit. (I also had a very interesting phone conversation with drunken Matt and Tyler, but we won't even begin to go into that, but my favorite part was "Pokemon Nathan"). Then we watched Identity because Nathan had never seen it and he wanted to (Kristin and I have watched it about 63 million times). It was fun though, I like that movie, Kristin and I both fell asleep a couple times. The funnest part was trying to figure out how we were going to sit so we could all sit together, we ended up throwing down some blankets and laying on the floor. Very nice, I know. Today we worked the Pumpkin Farm again and it was INSANE, but it was still fun, I love working there and having the extra money will be so nice in the coming days. When we got back we did some homework and fell asleep for about an hour, it was nice, but I just wanted to stay asleep until tomorrow morning, but I couldn't because I thought that would be too loserish. Now I'm getting ready to go watch the OC with Allison (Kristin isn't coming because she has a paper to write, I feel sad for her) :-(

Also, I just wanted to make mention of this, last night Nathan, Kristin and I had an interesting conversation about the Rapture, kinda scary, but kinda cool. I just wanted to say that, I'd love to talk about it with people sometime, it's cool to hear what other people think and what not. Also, I have a few questions about "interpretation" of things in the Bible, let me know if you wanna chat about it. Let me know!

Ok, I'm leaving, I hope you all have a wonderful night and week. I can't wait to see my girls and boys this weekend (the ones from high school that is). Ok, BYE!
