Third Doctor fun things :)
I didn't have time to write a fic or embroider that UNIT logo onto a bag like I wanted to, but this was my tribute to the Third Doctor at this year's Chicago TARDIS convention: A marionette!
And cosplay!
I didn't make the marionette myself- the credit for this lovely work goes to a local artist in my city- but I commissioned it and helped make it's clothes. My Femme Third Doctor cosplay was put together using pieces from my closet, plus I sewed some extra ruffles on to the white shirt.
Katy Manning, John Levene, and Richard Franklin (i.e. Jo, Benton and Yates) were all there, and I got a photo with all of them, me, and the puppet, but the official photos from the con aren't online yet, so here's this snapshot I took of Katy holding him:
They all liked my outfit and the puppet, and said that Jon Pertwee would have loved the puppet too, which makes me SO happy! It was a great weekend! :D
