One of my fav scenes is the Daleks and Cybermen arguing like petty children, lol! 'This isn't War, this is PERST CONTROL.' *Cackles*

I love the Daleks and the Cybermen... but I have to admit Rose made me sob like a little girl.

GIF love!

And yes most of the acting is great throughout (although you can tell Noel was doing Kidulthood around that point as he slips into his gruff-street voice).

It's okay, I guess. ;)

Funny thing, but I'm really not a fan of Series 2 of the new series. It was okay, I guess, but off the top of my head I can't really think of any stories from it that I would regard as personal favourites or anything. Daleks vs. Cybermen was worth seeing, though, and I guess had to be done at some point.

Still, the polls have spoken... ;)

Interestingly I rather like Series 2 but in a plesant sort of way. I find it's more even than Series 1 or 3. It has one story I adore (The Impossible Planet\Satan Pit), 1 I really like (The Girl In The Fireplace) and 2 I can't stand (Love and Monsters\Fear Her), whilst all the rest I like but would never cite as abolute classics.
It doesn't have The Empty Child and Dalek or Human Nature and Blink but I find the middling episodes a lot more enjoyable for my money.

Personally I wouldn't put it in my own top 50 TV stories but I think I enjoyed it most out of the RTD finales. It has a number of problems but is much funnier and the simplicity helps it a lot (plus it's a proper plot point that saves the day rather than a person becoming god).
