girls sleepover
so rack and bri stayed over last night and we had an old-fashioned girls slumber party. we rented movies: Harold and Kumar go to White Castle(comedy that me and rack hadnt seen yet, had some funny parts), Ever After (romantic that makes us say "barf!"), and Candyman(scary movie that makes me glad i had friends to stay over). we went and got the necessities: dr.pepper, doritos, fritos, funyuns, reese's! ya know, the usual. then we ordered pizza. we got old board games and talked for hours, mostly about guys. the only thing that wasnt usual was the alcohol! haha! not that we got drunk, but we just wanted a few drinks. actually bri and rack didnt really drink that much and i just got a little buzzed. we went to bed around 2:30am cuz we had all worked that day and we got up at 1pm! it was so nice to have a saturday to sit around and do nothing all day long! it was the most fun ive had in a long time and it was just the relaxation that i needed!
and i found out today that justin got promoted to shift supervisor today!! yay!!! im so happy for him! i know he wanted it! and i went up there tonight to see what time i work tomorrow and i got to congratulate him! he looked so different in a manager shirt! so handsome! hehe! and he's taking me out on thursday to dinner at chili's! we havent been on a date since the beginning of april the first time we went out! im really looking forward to it! im so glad that we're doing so much better this time! i feel like it is really workin this time! i havent been this happy in a long time! i know ive already said that but i just like to remind myself every once in a while so when i have bad days i can just look back at these entries and remember that i can be happy!
