Fabracadabra (ハットトリック Hatto Torikku, lit. "Hat Trick") An ice cream topped with the magic of three fruit flavors. Spellweaver Command Style.
2 Balloon Melon
2 Heroic Orange
1 Peach Fantasy
I have returned from Fall Break with only two ice cream flavors to go! Let's get cracking! Heroic Orange and Peach Fantasy are pretty self-explanatory, but there are many different types of melon. After a bit of digging, I discovered that melon-flavored things in Japan are flavored with musk melon, of which there are many cultivars. I couldn't find musk melons or the Japanese cultivar Sprite melons, but honeydew melons worked just fine. Because I was low on ingredients, I combined all three in the ice cream I made for the picture, but three separate batches are necessary if you want to be truly accurate to the game.
Ingredients for musk melon/orange/peach ice cream:
1-1/2 c whole milk
1 c heavy cream
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
4 eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 musk melon, peeled and chopped/2-1/2 c oranges, sectioned/2-1/2 peaches, pitted and sliced
In a blender, puree musk melon/oranges/peaches until smooth. Set aside. In a bowl, beat eggs until fluffy and light in color. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is brought to just under a boil. Immediately remove from heat. Combine the egg mixture with the milk mixture. Stir well. Fold in the musk melon/oranges/peaches. Quickly pour the mixture into a 9X5 3-inch pan. Let stand undisturbed for 10 minutes. Place pan in freezer and freeze until firm. Break the frozen mixture into chunks. In a bowl, beat until smooth. Return mixture to pan and freeze until firm. Makes 1 quart.
In a bowl, place a scoop of each ice cream.
