308: New York, New York

Tami: Well, I'm just sayin', you're gonna have to replace Mac and it might be the lesser of two evils, cause you know it'd be a good replacement. That's my sweet girl.
Eric: You know what, maybe I oughta' hire you, how's that?

Tami: Can't you just see little Gracie Belle playing back there and you throwin' the ball with Jules?
Eric: Is that our Julie or is there gonna be another Julie...

Eric: Babe, you know what you just said? Our... our.
Tami: Yah.
Eric: That means, the two of us.
Tami: Yah.
Eric: As far as my side is concerned, I say no.
Tami: Don't just say no.
Eric: Do you want me to just say yes?
Tami: No...
Eric: Okay then... No.
Tami: But don't just say no without us having a conversation about it. Where are you going?
Eric: Me?
Tami: Yah...
Eric: I'm just gonna go outside.
Tami: Oh, you're just gonna walk out?
Eric: I'm just goin' out to get some fresh air, Sweetie.

Eric: I'll tell you what, why don't we talk about the house we can't afford... why don't you run with that one.
Tami: Okay.

Eric: Have we got aspirin in the house?
Tami: I'm sure we do. Your arm?
Eric: Yah.
Tami: You haven't thrown like that in years.

Eric: Ugh... what are you doin? Come on now.
Tami: Honey... I can't stop thinkin' about the house.
Eric: What?
Tami: I can't stop thinking about the house, Honey.
Eric: Ugh.
Tami: And I just don't like the way we've gone into it...
Eric: Oh, come on now.
Tami: And I probably handled it wrong, but I just feel like this is something that we need to do together and it's an opportunity for us as a couple and as a family. Can we just do something together... can we just go back...
Eric: Sure.
Tami: ...and look at that house one more time. And say that we are going back there as partners and look at it together and think about it together. Think about what we want for our family and what we want for our lives and what we want for our finances and all that together.
Eric: Okay...
Tami: Kay... I'll set it up.
Eric: Can I turn the light off?
Tami: Huh?
Eric: Can I turn the light off?
Tami: Oh yah, go ahead, Hon.

Eric: We cannot do this. I am sorry.
Tami: I don't need this house. I don't. I got you and I got Jules and I got Gracie Belle and I got the best life. And I don't need this house.

Tami: But I appreciate you comin', and lookin', and bein' honest with me. That was all I cared about, just... whatever we do, we're doin' it together. I love you, Baby.
Eric: I love you too.

309: Game of the Week

Eric: What? What? Gracie's tryin' to tell me somethin'. Gracie and Mr. Bear inform me someone's birthday is coming up.
Tami: I don't know who's birthday that would be, certainly isn't mine.
Eric: Yes it is.
Tami: You know what y'all? I don't think I'm gonna have my birthday this year. I think I've decided against it.
Eric: You what?
Julie: Against your birthday?
Tami: Yah, yah... you know what, it's just, I think better not to have it. I feel old. I feel like if I have a birthday, Gracie Belle's gonna have a birthday, and you're gonna have a birthday. I think it's just better not to. It'd be the best present you can give me. Agreed? We gotta leave in 5 minutes.

Tami: Why are we rushing out so fast? They wanna interview you in there. What are you up to?
Eric: Shhhhh... Just get in the car I'm not up to anything.
Tami: You're being very sneaky.
Eric: You're being very suspicious.
Tami: Mmmhmmm... If you're not taking me to the party that would be the best birthday present I could ever ask for.
Eric: Get in the car.
Tami: Kay.... that and maybe getting a clicker for the lock.
Eric: You think getting a clicker's a good thing?

Tami: I love that... you are... I love you, Honey. Look at... oh, thank you... look at this... beautiful, everything with the rose petals... Honey, look! Hotel robes.
Eric: Something to steal.
Tami: I love... I love hotel robes!
Eric: We can steel 'em!
Tami: Honey.
Eric: How exciting.
Tami: Thank you.
Eric: Happy Birthday.

Eric: Maybe we can still take a shower?
Tami: Honey... I'm so sorry, what else would we do?
Eric: What do we gotta do.
Tami: Honey, I'm takin', I'm takin' the champagne.
Eric: Got the keys.
Tami: I'm takin' every bit of this chocolate.
Eric: We gotta get some coffee. Yah, get the chocolate that's very important, get the chocolate.
Tami: I'm takin' all of it. I'm eatin' all of these things.

Eric: Eh, it wasn't awful music...
Tami: Cassette tapes...
Eric: You loved that music, you still love that music.
Tami: Nooooo that music was awful, Honey.
Eric: Come on.
Tami: It still is awful.

310: The Giving Tree

Tami: Oh my Lord, that is awful.
Eric: I don't know, Honey, he got in a fight over at the Landing Strip or some crazy thing, I'm not quite sure what, but just listen...
Tami: Oh my Lord.
Eric: Just listen to me real quick. What he wants to know... can you go over and let Lyla know what's goin' on?
Tami: Well yah, but I was supposed to pick up Jules at Matt's house at 6:00, could you do that?
Eric: Alright.
Tami: Okay... alright, Honey, well, I'll go over there now.

Eric: I found Matt and Julie in bed together this afternoon.
Tami: What?
Eric: I found Julie and Matt in bed together this afternoon.
Tami: Where?
Eric: Over at Matt's house when I went to pick Julie up.
Tami: Where was that grandmother?
Eric: I don't know where she was.
Tami: What were they doing?
Eric: Honey, they were in bed together.
Tami: Oh, Honey.
Eric: It was very obvious.
Tami: Oh, Honey... you walked in? What did you do?
Eric: What do you mean what did I do, I went outside and waited for Julie to come outside, that's what I did.
Tami: I'm gonna go talk to her.
Eric: Before you go in there and talk to her, you better know what you're gonna say.
Tami: I have no idea.

311: A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall

Eric: Where's the cream?
Tami: Oh, Honey, we're out. You want some of mine? It's real good. It's still hot.

312: Underdogs

Eric: It's not like we have a choice.
Tami: No, I don't think we do have a choice.
Eric: Do you want me to do it?
Tami: Yah... No, I should do it... I'll do it. I'll do it.

Eric: What are you doin' over there, are you runnin' in place or something. Come on, now.
Tami: I can't get comfortable.
Eric: Well, I can't either.
Tami: Come here.
Eric: What are ya' doin'?
Tami: Come with me outside, come on. Put your shoes on.

Eric: I have no idea what's gonna happen tomorrow, Babe.
Tami: Well, you're gonna win... or you're gonna lose. Either way the sun's gonna come up the next morning.

313: Tomorrow Blues

Tami: Eric, you need to come to that meetin' on Saturday.
Eric: Why?
Tami: Well, to stand up for your job.
Eric: Honey, there is nothing I could, should, or need to say at that meeting. They can look at what I've done and decide for themselves. If they want Joe McCoy to take over this team, it's their damn funeral.
Tami: I don't think that's a good strategy.
Eric: That's because it's not a strategy, Hon.
Tami: I know, but I'm startin' to think that we're gonna need a strategy.
Eric: I can't out talk nor out spend, that's for damn sure, Joe McCoy.
Tami: I know.
Eric: I have given everything I've got for this team. I've still got that, I've still got my pride. I'm not givin' that up.
Tami: Uh uh, Hon... you're never gonna give up your pride. But if you don't fight for this, I think we're gonna regret it.

Tami: Okay, this is for a great report card, all your help around the house, all your help with Gracie Belle, which I could not have done without you. So, for all that and for being the most beautiful, amazing daughter anyone could ever dream of. Ta da!
Eric: I didn't think about her driving it.

Eric: You've gotta be kiddin' me.
Tami: They offered the job to Wade Aikman.
Eric: Alright, now we know.
Tami: And Hon... The board would like to offer you the position of head coach at East Dillon High.

Tami: It's kind of a sucky day, Hon.
Eric: The rib eye was good. I don't even know what the hell we're doing here. I don't even know Billy Riggins that well.
Tami: I think they think very highly of us.

Eric: Hey.
Tami: Hey. You know what?
Eric: Hmmm?
Tami: No matter what happens, no matter where you go, no matter what you do... I'm always gonna be behind you. Always and always and always.
Eric: I know that. I know that.

Tami: Okay, look at... everybody's all lined up... what?
Eric: Come on, there's someplace I wanna go.
Tami: What? No... Where do you wanna go?
Eric: There's someplace I wanna go.
Tami: Well, give me the keys cause I'm drivin'... Honey, you're drunk.
Eric: Don't worry about the keys.
