You Win Some, You Lose Some
Well, I didn't make it into the next round. I'll be honest - I'm not an idiot, I CAN hear myself. And I thought I should have made it into the finals, along with two other girls that didn't make it. One of them did the best version of Martina McBride's "Independence Day" I've EVER heard, better than even Martina herself.
However.
I never would have won the whole thing. There were at least 3 people that were clearly front-runners. So in a way I'm kind of relieved, since it means I don't have to sit through more grueling, nerve-wracking hours next week.
Especially since the rogue is coming into town. **ecstatic happy dance**
So now I get to spend those days relaxing instead of stressing, so it all works out in the end.
A big thank you to everyone for all their support, especially
kismets_kiss for sitting in traffic for two hours trying to come see me! It takes a really good friend to go through that kind of insanity!
