Asking For Your Help
I'm going to make this short since I've been up for 20 hours at this point, most of which have been spent in "OMIGODSTRESS!!!" mode, but here's the deal in a nutshell:
Tonight I went out to the state fair to enter into a karaoke contest with a $1000 cash prize. I wasn't sure what my chances were, but (to make a long story short) I got into the semi-finals, which are tomorrow night.
Here is where I ask for help. Audience participation is apparently a really big thing, and I scraped by tonight by picking out a killer song, even though I was there alone. ("You Lie," by Reba McEntire, in case you're interested.) Tomorrow I need to pick out a different song, which won't be quite as difficult (since I picked the hardest one in my arsenal for tonight) and so this is where you guys come in.
Anybody in the area want to come hang out for a while and cheer for me at the fair? I'll be getting there around 6:30 and leaving who-knows-when, but I you wouldn't need to stay the whole time, just yell for me when I need it.
No worries if none of you guys can make it out; I know it's short notice. But shoot me a text or email or something in case you'd like to come out and hang for a while! Love you guys and thanks in advance!
