this weekend turned out a non-productive blast. on friday night, we all went to see jamal have hundreds of girls (including us) worship him as he sang at his shades of brown concert, which lasted about two hours and encouraged an audience dance party of just about the same length. riled up afterwards, john, jon, ali, meg and i drove down thayer street with the windows open blasting the cheesiest of rilo kiley and yelling so as to make sure we fully embarassed ourselves in front of as many people as possible.
after a little wine and a round of fantasies at home, steven, ross, and kate came over...then our 2nd game got interupted, but THEN a spontaneous and awesome dance party fully erupted in our suite and lasted for the rest of our night.
after everyone had gone, we quickly determined that ali and steven should be married on the facebook and in life. accordingly, several representative pictures were taken and it was just as if wedding vows had been uttered.
saturday morning, we all met at the cable car for some breakfast and a 1970's french fantasy starring catherine deneuve. this movie could not have been more awesome. i honestly couldn't begin to describe why it was the most hysterical thing i'd ever seen, but i think it had a lot to do with the fact that it appeared to take itself so seriously while incorporating slow motion running shots of catherine deneuve in a donkey hood and a woman who spits frogs when she talks. again, this does it no justice, but here's the amazing original poster.
last night we went to jen's beautiful orchestra concert to hear her rock the harp and then came back for a low-key night and bed. i spent this morning procrastinating by helping thyra edit thayer st. before coming back to the suite to fail at trying to catch up on my reading and work. i'll get there eventually...maybe.
