Yay, I'm finally back at uni! :D
Japanese was alright. I'm dreading learning keigo this semester though.. I just.. I appreciate it's an important part of the language and we need to master it to be proficient, etc etc, but I just don't care and much prefer casual speech. Haha. And we have 2 oral presentations this semester instead of only 1.. And some ominous "interview" that my teacher won't tell us anything about. o.o; But I'm guessing it's something strictly formal with someone of greatly higher status than us, which I will most likely fail at. =/ Damn you, keigo.
I need to escape from Philosophy as quickly as possible, but my timetable isn't letting me. DDDD: The other Philosophy class has completely full tutorials, the Anthropology class I want to take clashes with my Linguistics class (which is the most awkwardly placed lecture EVER. I swear, it's always right through lunch and clashes with every other Humanities subject), and there's nothing else I can choose that'll be beneficial to my degree. =( Well.. I'm sure I'll find a way to escape somehow..
And all this fail wasn't helped by the weather this morning, which was the worst weather we've had in a long time. The rain and wind were so violent they turned my umbrella inside out and SNAPPED IT IN HALF. I also wore tights and non-enclosed shoes, like an idiot, and so was absolutely soaked from the knees down for the whole day. And tights take ages to dry, as I found out. I had to take off my shoes and dry them under hand-dryers twice. >_>;
