Well, now that Bobby was back on-island, he felt the need to check in with his friends and say hi.

Especially the one who he hadn't had a chance to see over Christmas at Sookie's.

"Hey," he greeted, poking his head through the doorway. "How's it going?"

"Bobby!" Angelica exclaimed, surprised to see him. Her own crisis was momentarily forgotten. "When did you get back?"

"Friday," Bobby told her. "Just in time for classes, of course."

"I thought you weren't coming back!" Angelica said, hopping down from her bed. "Is your dad OK?"

"So did I," Bobby admitted. "He's on the mend- enough to let me know he thought my coming back here was the right thing to do."

"That's great, I'm so happy for you," Angelica said.

But her smile fell a little as she said, "But now I have to go home."

Bobby frowned. "'You-know-what' stuff?" he guessed, being deliberately vague and assuming she meant the temporary 'take care of a problem and then come back' sort of trip.

"Miss Frost wants me to come back to her school," Angelica said, reaching for the letter on her bed and showing it to Bobby. "She thinks I've been away long enough and need to get back to my training."

"But-" Bobby frowned. "The semester just started, and she wants to uproot you back to your other school?" he whined, like a giant hypocrite who hadn't just bailed on Fandom himself a few months prior.

"It sucks," Angelica agreed miserably. "I mean, I really didn't want to come here to start with, but once I realized I could be myself and nobody was going to be picking on me, I never wanted to leave."

"That sounds awfully familiar," Bobby shared. "Probably because it was the exact same thing that happened to me."

"But you got to come back," Angelica said with a trace of hope in her voice. "Maybe I will, too."

She just wished she could be more sure of that.

"I hope so," Bobby told her. "I'd miss you," he admitted. "Maybe you can convince her you can get the same training here?"

"I'm going to try to tell Miss Frost that," Angelica said. "I've learned a lot here, too, but I know she has special plans for me."

Bobby wrinkled his nose, resisting the urge to tell Angelica that Emma Frost having 'special plans' for someone... probably wasn't a good thing. At all. "I could even, you know. Help with that. The training stuff," he offered hesitantly.

"Really? Wow, I'd like that," she said, especially since she knew Bobby was secretive about his abilities. "We have to at least once before I go."
