Good things happen to people who wait - or something
So, as most of you know, I missed the housing deadline this year and was really bummed that I was gonna have to live at home and commute. Well, I was on the wait list, and about a month ago, they emailed to say that no new spots had opened up and that there wasn't any room for me. So I was like bleh, fine, and I resigned myself to live at home.
Well today at work, I got a call from Cathy at Housing that there is a vacancy in an on-campus apartment for me. I won't be living in ERC, I'll be living in Sixth - but who the hell cares? It's not home!
Needless to say, I was there with my housing contract and deposit check within 4 hours. :)
I'm free!
