Not only did they fire Brooke Smith from Grey's Anatomy for being 'Too Gay' for the show and drop all future story lines featuring gay characters, California passed the Proposition 8 bill making gay marriage illegal in California jepardising all marriages (including Ellen and Portia's) that have happened since the bill was passed to make marriage legal for gay and lesbian couples.
One step forward with a Black president two steps back with the passing of this bill and the axing of the gay story lines on most of the ABC America shows....
