Unfortunately Callie went and slept with a man after the heart wrenching speech, beginning the downward spiral of their relationship, where one episode later Erica walks away, from Callie, from Seattle Grace and as far as we know, from Seattle. Brooke Smith the woman is a wonderful actress, working on Series 7:The Contenders,Crossing Jordan, Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy and she was the woman down the well in Silence of The Lambs.
She works with many charities and is a supporter of not only the community dedicated to her and the relationship Erica had with Callie she supports the GLBT community in other ways, going to the MILK premiere and generally making her presence known in the wider community. We at Erica_Callie made her a scrap book and inundated the ABC America building with boxes upon boxes of leaves after we found out she was fired, we believe unjustly. The real cause of her firing, we will probably never know but she has told us that she has moved on and that she is in the middle of making another show for us all to oggle her over. When she was first fired it was said that she was ugly, a bad actor, too fat for the show and other things that where very hurtful.
