I am currently sitting in a hotel lobby in the Isle of Mann, locked out of my room with my laptop, becuase Kellog, who I'm shring a room with went to a meeting in a private function room and none of us are allowed in to get the room key back off her. The receptionist let me in briefly to get my sandwich, but she was rather annoyed about it, so I daren't ask her to let me in again.
Anyways, we came over yestarday for a six day trip. Lovely smooth ferry crossing, nice dinner and everything, but the hotel screwed up the booking and moved us from the bottom floor to the top. the lift is too small for my wheelchair and we were down a long corrider. We got moved this morning, though so all is well.
Today we went drivng round the coast and saw some pretty sights. My friends pushed me round the cliff path which seemed more like a dirt bike course, which was fun, but made my wheelchair start to appriciate the hills of Sheffield.
Argh! I got four archery competitions to do in two days now! That's what happens when you go on an archery holiday. Oh well. I'll probably do crap, but its the taking part that counts. Wish me luck though.
