I am glad to know that I wasn't moved to work in a group home in new area as an act of discipline. My manager was the one that traded me, but I also found out that an old manager I've worked with asked to get me in the new area and was very excited. I would have thought that it was a story made up so that I would be happy where I'm at, but he has often told me in the past I'd make a good manager.
The area coordinator told me that he approved it because he knows what the other manager has done before but she also gets difficult things done. He didn't want him trying to retrain her having to affect my or anyone elses job. I don't like how I didn't get the choice but it does change things and its good to have it cleared up.
