In which I pretend I know my stuff. things_go_boom June 28 2010, 00:31:15 UTC
The sword isn't a family heirloom, but some sort of beta-testing weapon Sonja had been working on. "Since it was for the Aparoid War, I never had the heart to tell you it wasn't a heirloom." And she never told me before! The nerve!

Anyway, it's based on the high frequency blades, but she modified it a lot.

So, instead of just tempered high carbon spring steel, she has a mixture of titanium diboride, high carbon spring steel, the blade has aggregated diamond nanorods! Isn't that just, awesome? I mean ultrahard fullerite (or diamond nanorods as I called them before) are even stronger than normal diamonds! I've been wanting to us selective laser sintering myself but I didn't have the money for it. But now...She also upped the frequency speed without damaging the holder's ability to use it, so it cuts even more.

Here's the funniest thing. When she mentioned to Kanbei you still had the sword, his only response was, "What, he still has it?" Apparently we were supposed to give it back but he forgot he had said it was fine and honestly I can see why this man looses his socks every two days.

Then he started to talk to me about his socks again. I think he's already forgot you have it.

Sonja says hi!

[WOAH that's a lot of nanorides and diborites he's just going to pretend he knows what she's talking about. DIAMOND. He gets diamond. That's really tough.]

Oh, is that all.

Tell her I say 'hi' too.
