When he refused to participate in class, I made a bluff and told him I would use a move specifically designed to make him experience his deepest fears. He dared me to, but I don't know the move and of course I wouldn't have actually used it anyway, so instead I tried to just charm him into participating.

I didn't think the effects would last so long...

I don't know how to break it to him. I'm sure it will wear off on its own sooner or later. In the meantime, I'm sure I could persuade him to do a few things to make his father miserable.
