If someone could cling to a room, John would be doing so. But, since he can't, he settling for hugging doors and appliances in between throwing the last of his things in bags.

He'd miss 238. And other things. But 238 mostly. Maybe.

After last night's radio broadcast failed to do anything more than irritate him further, John's up early that morning to do something, anything that he can possibly find to occupy himself.

Which is why Betram's on his top, bottom up and John's pulling at wires and knobs to see what they do and to see if he could, somehow, make them do better

A few weeks ago, John woke up early to go exercise with Aeryn. Now, it's Aeryn's turn to wake up early and do something John likes to do.

So, he's puttering around in front of the television, making noise that's probably enough to wake up her up.

This was going to be fun.

John heard the radio. John knew Rikku and Animal were annoying more people than just Hades. And, while he was proud of them, he lived with someone that they'd annoyed.

So, yes, he was fearful.

And yes, he tried to call someone he lived with. It seemed safer.

John woke up a little earlier than expected for no good reason except he was just up. So, not wanting to wake Aeryn, he got out of bed, went over to sprawl on the couch and turned on the television, low volume.

John woke up when he fell off the couch. It didn't hurt because he was a big boy and he was tough. He rubbed his eyes and looked around.

"Aeryn!" John yelled just because he knew she was around somewhere. "Wake up and let's play!"

John got up early this morning. Really early. And he's spent all that time in the bathroom practicing "the question." He's doing it quiet enough so that even Aeryn can't hear him but he's shoved a towel under the crack in the bottom of the door just in case. And he's running water.

And he's down on one knee, asking his mirror self to marry him

John is snoring. Loudly. And he's sprawling. A lot. What? All that studying does things to a guy's brain. And said guy needs comfort and blankets and sweet dreams to recover from all that studying.

Yep.

After getting D'Argo back from Aeryn after Revolution and unsuccessfully pawning off Umberta to Aly, John was back in 238 getting ready for the big day. Umberta was off with her new mother playing somewhere so it was just D'Argo and John ( Read more... )
