Jealousy: n., pl. -ies. 1.a. The fear resulting from the perception that ones needs that are being met by someone will no longer be met by that person as that person is putting their energy into meeting another persons needs. 1.b. Ones fear that they will no longer be loved by a person because that person loves someone else. 2.a. The desire to poses what someone else has because of the perception of not having that thing. 2.b. Resentment towards that person.
