You think I'm funny when I tell the punchline wrong
a) I’m pleased that The Razmere show is up and running again because this guy’s reviews are always so entertaining and they always manage to avoid discussing the spoilery content of the topic in question. I particularly enjoyed this review about “Portal 2":
It’s too bad I didn’t find out about this game a week earlier because I heard that they were giving away the game's prequel for free. I guess £6.99 is not a bad price for a computer game but like everyone else I love getting stuff for free!
b) I have watched all 9 episodes of Young Justice.
1. Artemis is slowly becoming my favourite character in this TV series. I like snarky women who kick butt and take names but the fact that she has a back story we have yet to see is the icing on the cake. I genuinely think Artemis had a very dark past that may or may not come out in an ugly way and I can’t wait to learn more about her.
2. Kaldur still has a special place in my heart though. I absolutely adored him in the episode where he went home to Atlantis. Most guys would have taken an episode to get over the fact that they’re crush hooked up with another guy but he didn’t let his feelings get in the way of defending his home or protecting his friends and I respect that.
3. I love how Batman is the father figure in this series and Superman is still coming to grips with Superboy’s very existence. It’s realistic considering that Batman has practically been Robin’s father for who knows how long and Superman probably has zero experience when it comes to kids.
4. Okay shipping…
Miss Martian/Superboy = Battle couple. Bereft was their crowning moment as a couple and I can’t wait to see what happens to them.
Kid Flash/Artemis = Tsundere and a possible redemption arc if Artemis ends up being a traitor. I have a feeling that the romantic development between these two may be tragically beautiful if the writers play their cards right.
Aqua Lad/Superboy = Bromance. They already have Bromance fanart. Fist bumping for the win.
It’s like Greg Weisman knows all my favourite ship tropes. ♥ Don’t mess up these couples Weisman, canon or otherwise!
By the way, according to Young Justice.net, the newest episode for this series is going to air on June 3rd? No promises though since I'm not sure how reliable their sources are.
