Firstly, I am ordering Mysterious Skin THE BOOK tonight and JUST TO WARN YOU ALL. I have this irrational terror that it will COMPLETELY CONTRADICT EVERYTHING IN REQUIESCAT.
(Even though Requiescat is based on the movie, because a movie x book crossover, when JGL does not even star in the book, would just be weird)
Anyway you can anticipate either much more vivid characterization and a whack more inspiration than I've been running on ... or an authorial meltdown and a couple of totally awkward, tear-stained, shoehorned-in codas.
