One can never have too many books to read or pints of ice cream to eat

My trip to the library this morning resulted in me leaving with five books:

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown (I am probably one of the only people in the world who have not yet read this book)

The Fasting Girl: A True Victorian Medical Mystery by Michelle Stacey (about this girl in 1865 who took to her bed with a bunch of strange symptoms for over a decade. Many people think she was a media-hungry fraud)

The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout (the cover claims 1 in 25 ordinary Americans secretly has no conscience and can do anything at all without feeling guilty. Who is the devil you know?)

Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire

I don't know which to start first.

I also came home from Shop Rite with seven pints of ice cream. Yes, you read that correctly. SEVEN. There was a sale and one can never have too many pints in the freezer.

I then proceeded to go into I wanna curl up and die mode on the couch with one of those aforementioned pints and I watched some Dark Angel.

I have to mow the lawn today, but my abdominal area is screaming NOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm feeling the need for more ice cream paired with more curling up with something to watch.

This heat has got to go.

books are sexy, ice cream = heaven, curl up and die mode
