"Loners of the world, separate!"
Only the lonely know how contenting and liberating it is to be a loner. Extroverts should take heed. My favorite line: "To me, hell is being forced to be in a certain place at a certain time and having to be civil to people I don't like and don't want to deal with." I gave this to my mom to read. She doesn't believe that there are introverts. Obviously my mother, who is always on my back about going out and hanging out with crowds of people and going to bars and whatnot, is an extrovert.
This article came in perfect time: my dad wants me to go to a memorial mass for my Uncle next Sunday. It's the tenth anniversary of his death. I have no problem going to the mass. The mass is followed with a gathering at my aunt's house. I asked if I could take my car so that I could leave early from the gathering. Dad said no. I said I don't want to have to stay all day. He said they won't stay all day, which they will. So screw them, I'm driving separately. That pissed me off this morning.
