The sweat has formed a river down my back. In case you wanted to know.

Long day of work. There was this dopey woman who bought some counter stools and I told her that I would meet her at the stockroom door at the front of the store with her stools. She said okay and went to get her car, or so I thought. 15 minutes passed and she still hadn’t shown up. I gave up and went back to work. 15 more minutes passed and she appeared. I have no idea where she went. Did she think I was just going to stand at the door and wait for her? She annoyed the hell out of me. She seemed like a scatterbrain to begin with and people like that give me big headaches.

My hours have been switched tomorrow. Instead of 10-5pm I’m now working 7am-12pm, unloading the 28 feet of truck that’s coming tomorrow morning. Joy. But I prefer getting up early and getting out early to getting up later and getting out later.

It’s hot. And humid. I could deal with the heat, but it’s the humidity that is killing me. May take a dip in the pool. Or see how cool it is in the hammock under the trees.
