My Boo is Coming!
Well Guys. This week has definitely been something.
Yesterday was Hurricane Homberto..or whatever. The other reporter and I were in the rain all day long! My fingers were wrinkling I was so wet. I could not believe how much it was raining. I just figured we would do a lot of indoor stories...I don't know what made me think that but we didn't do that.
Well so I was sopping wet all day long. I was freezing for most of the day. I didn't eat lunch until 2 o'clock. You all know how important food is. Very. My shoes were so wet that when I walked...water squished out the the sides. Terrible. They are still soakig right now.
Other than all the rain chasing and wind blowing it really wasn't so bad.
The package looked awesome and the news director was pretty impressed with us all. Me and Bonnie that is.
Later that evening was the KLAX/RTN Premiere Party. We all dressed up and went to the party at Paragon Casino...pretty uneventful...except that Mom(she was my date) won two tickets to Cirque Dreams...Im pretty excited about that. It should be fun.
Today Patrick is coming into town. We're suppose to have lunch with my Mom. Then I have to come back to work and he will go to my house. We'll probably watch movies tonight.
Tomorrow Sarah is going on a retreat. And Patrick and I are going to the Natchitoches meatpie festival. I am so excited about that! I love meatpies. LOVE THEM. I plan on getting a tshirt and going shopping and all that great stuff.
Melissa Wilkins, another reporter, is suppose to meet us there. I hope that will be okay...if you know what I mean. She is really okay but now it seems that she really likes me. Which is great..but she seems like a clingy girl. You know? I must sound terrible.
Anywho... I just hope I have fun this weekend. I really need this!
