This has been a crummier 4th than most I can remember. The reunion in Viola was today, a lot of people didn't show up, it was raining and cold and I'm tired because I'm temporarily on day shift.
Was looking forward to seeing the fireworks at the speedway tomorrow, but it turns out they had done their show LAST Sunday. All the other shows within a reasonable distance are just about ending now or went on yesterday. So no fireworks for me at all. [-(
We did see a hummingbird nest, that was neat. And more hummingbirds fighting over a feeder. And the weather's supposed to be really nice for the rest of my time off.
