This is not the promised silly post about Power Rangers and dancing in shopping arcades.
This is a serious post about a young man who needs serious help.
This is a signal boost for a young man fighting for his life.
Takumi is a young man from Wakayama prefecture, a prefecture just to the south of Mie. He was kicked out of his parent’s home for being a homosexual. My parent's have never been anything but loving and supportive of me. The pain that this young man feels is something I can't even begin to understand.
What makes this doubly tragic is that Takumi was diagnosed with VSD, Ventricular Septal Defect, more commonly known as a hole in the heart. Since the start of this year he has had three heart attacks and one stroke, yet he is still fighting and struggling to pay for his medical care and living expenses which his parents refuse to help him with.
He is currently living alone in a tiny apartment with bleeding holes in his heart unable to afford the necessary surgery, medication and hospital rehabilitation.
Takumi’s friends are asking for donations to help Takumi through this terrible time until he is able to support himself. More information about Takumi, photos, video blogs and how to donate through paypal can be found at this website:
http://www.takumisheart.com/Takumis_Heart/home.html My friend Marissa is offering a free translation service for anyone who has donated to Takumi’s cause. She has a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language and Literature and is more than capable of translating doujinshi, manga pages, lyrics, fliers, etc. Info on this can be found on her blog here:

Even if you are unable to donate helping to spread the word would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
