(no subject)
On a happier note then my recent friends posts. I took Hunter in to daycare today! From 11:30 to 2:30ish. It went great! And we got some great news. I had been stressing a bit because Hunter was going to be on the 'baby side' with the 0-12 month olds. A new baby came in and a toddler left so he's been bumped up to the toddler side with the other 13+ month olds. He's the oldest there now actually. :-) Awesome! This also puts him with a new caregiver as well, who I get along and find a lot easier to talk to so this is really good.
He had a lot of fun today. A bit weary but he did very well finding things to do and not too much whining and even felt intrepid enough to try climbing a wooden climber on his own near the end, after watching the other kids do it. Hopefully this will rub off on his eating as well. ;-)
Having a couple minor issues around subsidy but that should be straightened out soon. Going back tomorrow and going to try leaving him there alone for 30 minutes or so. See how it goes when I'm not around. If it goes well, I'll leave him there on Wed for a bit longer.
