Ya know, the sad part of the original sign is the fact that whomever posted them, clearly did so for their own benefit / reassurance. Can you imagine someone sitting at their desk thinking "Hmmm, I wonder what I can do to make Patty more comfortable while pooing at work? Oh, I know...." Nope. Someone posted those as their own personal mantra. So they don't feel bad.

I thought of that, but wouldn't a simply flyer explaining the courtesy flush, and imploring its use be better if that were the goal?

SO true...brevity and bluntness certainly isn't on a short list of attributes describing this sign maker. That's for sure.

Note: "Courtesy Flush" and "Bowel Movement" have the THE SAME NUMBER of letters in them!!
