Sometimes I am stupidly persistent. Two commercials I like are the American Express one with Tina Fey, and the Snickers Dark Chocolate one with the "Feast!" theme. There's an actor both have in common, and it's the guy who plays the pilgrim in one, and the 'German Shepherd' in the other (the latter is the only reason I like the Amex commercial). I have wanted to know this actor's name for some time, but today I finally hunkered down to search for it.
I just wasted 30 minutes (because of course I got distracted by other links) to find out his name is Jeff Hiller http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1865598/. I can't believe how badly I HAD to know that. I guess that persistence can be positive though. I often use it to help my clients locate resources, and advocate for them to get services they need.
Yeah, I use my powers in a quest for knowledge that is mundane and important (though not necessarily at the same time).
