ultimate destiny
last night was damn entertaining...I found out Elefant was going to be at the Tea Room next door so I showed up early to see them. Only a five dollar cover charge.
I showed up early and listened to elliot smith and the yeah yeah yeahs.
I recognized the band when they walked in. I approached Jeff because he was smoking and I had no more fags [he and i briefly met at the previous show]. He and I began chatting about their last few shows and his shoes. He had to run but introduced me to a few other people that I began to share the night with.
I sat back down and one girl was struck by the fact I spoke with them. She asked if I knew the band and I told her I just went up and bummed a smoke. She was in awe.
The show was good. I enjoyed much more than the last show. I went back stage with the guys and chowed down on their food. It was really good.
I took off to see the Skinny Puppy show.
I ran into: Anna, ghastlyflop, mrsinner, psychictv and one of my camel buddies
Jeff and I crossed paths once again and he joined me over at the show...I saw him off and I will catch their next show here in the Big D
Afterwards went to July Alley to see Dan...we had a nice hello, then Erick came in and nearly missed me...Justin showed up and he and i played some pool...I let him witn ;-]
Stayed there until I got kicked out...but not without a nice goodbye as well...the goodbye was much nicer than the hello
