Let's compare scars I'll tell you whose is worse

I've had a busy week this week!  I love my busy weeks, lol.  Because when I'm busy I don't have time to think.  Thinking always gets me into trouble because I always end up thinking about bad memories that I'd rather not remember.  When I was talking to Chris online last night I came to the conclusion that I don't even want to have a relationship right now.  I remember I used to want a boyfriend so bad, somebody to be with, somebody to care about me.  But right now, I don't even care anymore.  I'd rather not have to go through the heart ache and drama of it all.  Plus I feel like I need to focus on myself and getting more self-confidence.  My mom told me that I have to love myself before a guy can love me.  So that's what I'm working on.  I don't want a guy to have to carry me along because I can't do it myself.  I'm in the state of mind where if I had a boyfriend, every little thing he says I would take the wrong way.  So this year I'm gonna focus on my friends and just having a good time.  I don't need a guy to be happy (although they sure are fun to look at, haha).

I just got back from Sieg's house.  She had a bonfire full of people I didn't know (with a lot of hott guys woo) from Oxford highschool and Rochester High.  I mainly hung out with this girl Krista who goes to my church.  We were sitting in a circle with these 4 guys dressed in black who are in a band.  Sieg was playing guitar and all of us were singing to "Baby One More Time."  It was a sight to see 4 goth guys singing Britney Spears, hahaha!!  There's this guy Chad who was sitting in our circle (don'tcha just love the name Chad--I know I do, haha), and Sieg was telling us about how she was asking Chad online, "Something that rhymes with heart pronto."  She meant to tell him to think of a word pronto, but he took it the wrong way and said, "Making love in Tronto." HAHA!  The bonfire was so insanely huge.  It was burning off of dead trees!  Krista and I were sitting on a hose (I guess Sieg's brother was spraying around the fire so it wouldn't spread), and I totally thought she said, "I'm sitting on a hoe!"  When I asked her about that, she said, "No, but I'm sitting next to one."  Oooh, burn, haha!!  I got to eat a hot dog, marshmellows, and chocolate.  Yeah right like I'll be able to get to sleep, haha.  And this random guy hugged me who was wearing the "I'm a Keeper" shirt from American Eagle!  Yeah baby!

Wed. night Monika G., Margaret, Caitlin, and I went to the Kelly Clarkson concert.  Omg--it was so much fun!!  We met at Great Lakes Crossing and ate at Stir Crazy...errr--memories of prom (which Margaret had to make worse by saying "Hot freshman who didn't like you!"  which brought up a whole conversation about what happened in that little situation).  I ate coconut shrimp because that was the only thing on the menu I've heard of.  It wasn't much food though so I ended up eating part of everyone else's meal, LOL.  Monika, Margaret, and I all wore fishnets..Monika's were traditional black, Margaret's were purple, and mine were bright blue.  People probably thought we were dorks..but oh well--screw them, I don't care what they think.  When we got there we saw Pat Foth, so when we got in our seats Caitlin decided to text message him and ask him where he was sitting.  During the whole concert Margaret and I were headbanging...woo!  Headbanging rocks my world baby!!!  Poor Margaret had to sit next to this huge smelly guy.  So she would put lotion on her hand and just keep her hand on her nose.  It was supposed to be me who was sitting next to that guy too.  But before we got to our seats, I talked Margaret into trading tickets with me...haha!!

On Thursday I went shopping with Hope and Meagan Shafto, who is going to college this weekend.  We also saw her brother Tim and her mom there too.  When Meagan left, Hope and I walked around.  Just as Hope was about to say "Tim is hott"...guess who walked by.  Yeah--that's right--Tim.  So Hope was like, "ummm..yeah, i'll tell ya later."  That's would've been memorable if she would've said "Tim is hott" right when he walks by. That would totally be something I would do, LOL.  Then Natalie showed up and we went to Hot Topic.  I'm in love with that store, lol.  Hope and I tried on these matching skin tight black dresses, and I felt like a French maid in that thing.  You know you wanna see that..haha.  I also bought a wallet that had a heart on the front and you can put a picture in it.  Guess which guy's picture I put in it?  Hint--starts with a C, ends with a D, haha.  I could just take out my wallet and drool over that picture all day long, haha.  And Hope and Natalie are offically my hott stuff, lol.  Am I your hott stuff :oP
And today I went to see "Red Eye" with Jessica who's moving up north because of her ass hole of a step dad. I'm gonna miss her so much! We've had our fair share of memories, like how she went to that football game in the middle of the week in the freezing cold just for me, and how in the middle of the half time show, she ran out onto the field into the goal post just so I could see it shake, haha. That movie was SO good though!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and everytime a freaky part would come on and would be really goofy. Like how the girl (who's in the Notebook) was hitting this guy with a baseball bat, when I lean over and say to Jessica, "Hit him in the balls, hit him in the balls!" LMAO.

"Swing Life Away"-Rise Against

Am I loud and clear, or am I breaking up?
Am I still your charm, or am I just bad luck?
Are we getting closer, or are we just getting more lost?

I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
Let's compare scars, I'll tell you whose is worse
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

I've been here so long, I think that it's time to move
The winter's so cold, summer's over too soon
Let's pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow

I've got some friends, some that I hardly know
But we've had some times, I wouldn't trade for the world
We chase these days down with talks of the places that we will go

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand....until you hold my hand

I'll show you mine if you show me yours first
Let's compare scars, I'll tell you whose is worse
Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words

We live on front porches and swing life away,
We get by just fine here on minimum wage
If love is a labor I'll slave till the end,
I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand

Swing life away [x4]
