so yes. my 3 day weekend is over. sadly. now i return to work for 8 days straight.
melyssa came down for zacks 21st and then some...we had a great time. went to the nitty gritty (closed for a work party), essen haus (so dead it was creepy), mickeys (really creepy but we had a drink) and then finally to the City on state street, which we got him very drunk. it was fun, just me, zack, melyssa and rachel. good times
saw 27 dresses...despite bad reviews, i really, really enjoyed it. a good love story, and i have a deep love for katherine heigl and james mardsen
so zacks yelling at me now and i need to go to bed. i am just so ugh about going back--sooooo not looking forward to standing for 10 hours, being yelled at for doing nothing when theres NOTHING to do and getting crabbier about the endless cycle.
Did I mention I'm quitting smoking? down to 3 cigarettes a day--I'm hoping being in the musical (if I make it!) will help that--less people seem to smoke in musicals than what i like to call "straight" shows. so I'm hoping I wont get too stressed out at work and such and can keep it up.
well yes, although i've been lazing around the past 3 days watching tv and eating way more than I should ever consume in 3 days, stuff has been going on. heath ledger dying, that's crazy as well. he was a key actor in my teen movie era--"10 Things I Hate About You" is one of my all time favorite teen flick movies. He made a lot of groundbreaking work, including opening the doors with Brokeback Mountain, I suppose (ive never seen it)....but he wasn't such a classic as other actors, one would argue. It's just really sad, especially since he has a 2 year old daughter who I've heard *in media, none the less* that he was very close to. That's what kills me most about it.
