I've never taken care of a plant before; is it easy?

It depends on what you mean by easy; some plants are very hardy and require little care on your part, while others demand more attention if you want to raise them apart from their natural environment. If you know and are ready and able to provide what the plant needs to survive and flourish - and, if you are aware of the plant's poisons and dangerous features, if it possesses any - taking care of it shouldn't be too difficult.

I think I'd like to try caring for a plant. A flower that can be kept indoors...is there one you think I wouldn't have much trouble with?

The jade plant, Crassula argentea, is fairly easy to take care of, and can grow up to a meter tall and wide. It likes bright spaces, and can be planted in soil or grown in water. To propagate, cut off a branch and place it in water until it issues roots. Even a single leaf has the potential to become an individual plant if it is left in a moist area long enough to put forth roots. The type that I carry has bright yellow blooms.

By the way, I do not believe we have exchanged words before; what is your name?

Jade plants are not native to Britain, but as they are popular houseplants, many gardening shops carry them. I bought mine from a Muggle florist.
