Yesterday while I was lying listlessly on my couch, staring at the walls and pondering the stupidity of life, i had the idea of painting my living room wall like this:
I like the idea, but also find it vaguely disturbing. Hence, I think that you should give it a month to marinate in your head before you spend the time and the money on it. Make sure that the image doesn't go away. (Just so you know, this is how I decide on tattoos. Once the idea comes, I give it a set period of time and if it doesn't change drastically or die, I start designing it.)
I would be wall buddies with you if I had a wall to do this with. I live in a shotgun house tho, so all the walls have doors and it throws off the effect.
They're urging me to decorate / paint my office at work, so I might tell them I'd like to paint the one wall and stencil a huge "word" on it. We'll see.
im not sure being black excuses me (or anyone) for still using WORD. it's my inate coolness that lets me get away with it. that, and letting me say AWESOME whenever i want! *G*
all or nothing? okay, then, i say GO FOR IT! i still have my buffy/angel fandom wall up in my bedroom. still! and yeah, this may be a direct result of my sheer laziness, because, wow, taking it down? LOT OF WORK. but well, everyone is still sexy/pretty/cool. and i committed to it, dammit!
and ive got a wall in my living room, cut off by the staircase and a closet, that im gonna make my 'postcard wall'. i was gonna paint it some bright, shocking color...but now? postcards. you've inspired me, shiri! it'll be AWESOME! (giggles)
psst. WORD + SHIRI = (to me) the application. what does it represent to you, really? psst. this reply brought to you via: APPRECIATION! :loves her witch:

That's a good idea in theory, because for me, if I don't act immediately, I will not act at all, most like. See option A.
And not that I mind the anonymity, but - do I know you? Is this Eva? (cause of the tattoos... :)

I'm totally doing it, so if you do decide to paint a wall in your office - let me know :)
What is a "shotgun" house, btw?

Re: removable stencil - I say again. This feels like a "all or nothing" kinda thing. Not worth it if it's not actually ON the wall. You know?
(And, yeah, yeah, I know... it's me... I'm making an effort to be around, darling! Appriciate please)
