Yesterday while I was lying listlessly on my couch, staring at the walls and pondering the stupidity of life, i had the idea of painting my living room wall like this:
im not sure being black excuses me (or anyone) for still using WORD. it's my inate coolness that lets me get away with it. that, and letting me say AWESOME whenever i want! *G*
all or nothing? okay, then, i say GO FOR IT! i still have my buffy/angel fandom wall up in my bedroom. still! and yeah, this may be a direct result of my sheer laziness, because, wow, taking it down? LOT OF WORK. but well, everyone is still sexy/pretty/cool. and i committed to it, dammit!
and ive got a wall in my living room, cut off by the staircase and a closet, that im gonna make my 'postcard wall'. i was gonna paint it some bright, shocking color...but now? postcards. you've inspired me, shiri! it'll be AWESOME! (giggles)
psst. WORD + SHIRI = (to me) the application. what does it represent to you, really? psst. this reply brought to you via: APPRECIATION! :loves her witch:
It's true that there must be serious cool going on to get away with certain things... good thing you're all about the cool, darling.
Wall of postcards is AWSOME (see, I can do it too), but I would much rather you be wall-buddies with me and do my design, or a variation of it ;)
Would love to see pictures of the fan-wall, btw!
And I can't believe your association was Microsoft Word :( Very disappointing, and totally the last thing I would want people to get from the wall. Oh, well, it's a very open-to-your-own-interpretation design, so I guess I can't complain. Much.
a weekend or two ago, i began my postcard wall...and then took it down. due to the angle of the staircase, i didnt like the uncovered parts, and i don't want to bend/cut my postcards! im gonna have to pick a new friggin wall! or maybe just paint a dark border...
im sorry, but you've always been such a wiz @ word, it just popped in my head! its totally your fault, not mine. :P
way too many Spike pics, to my taste... and can you believe i just said that? me, a former honorary member of the AllThingsSpike group, holder of The Real Spike? (Heh, remember those crazy days, Shell?). But yeah. I've totally gone off him to the point that he annoys me with is mere presence.
Anyway - oh! There's Xander!
And your wall isn't so freaky, it reminds me of the wall my sister had growing up to *cough*Don Johnson *cough*... it was beyond belief. But very beautiful.
haha. holder of the real spike! :)evilshellyJune 13 2007, 21:10:35 UTC
heeeee. after the girl sent me the pic via email i thought the same damn thing! woah, that's a lot 'o spike! :) oh well, spike *is* the reason i started the thing...everyone else was added later! but remember, this was my back wall in my office...the reason i put it in my room was because JCAHO was coming to the hospital and you couldn't have paper on the walls...so...well..i couldnt just TRASH it, could i? :P but really, i don't even notice it anymore...and when i do, i just tell myself, i still like JM even if im not so much with the spike love these days!
And your wall isn't so freaky, it reminds me of the wall my sister had growing up to *cough*Don Johnson *cough*... it was beyond belief. But very beautiful. lol! don johnson was quite pretty, back in the day. :P
when i was a teen my walls were covered in rockshow, comic and movie posters. i was my own genre: punk!geek. *G*
i would, however, paint the wall..and then stencil in 'word' using something removable...see if you want to keep it..
oh! forgot.
WITCH!!! :)

Re: removable stencil - I say again. This feels like a "all or nothing" kinda thing. Not worth it if it's not actually ON the wall. You know?
(And, yeah, yeah, I know... it's me... I'm making an effort to be around, darling! Appriciate please)
