1) Stop feeling guilty about interlibrary loan. Use it. Take all the books in the world. You deserve them.

On the laptop front: Found all the disks that came with my laptop, including five install disks, a bunch of software restore disks, and a hardware testing disk. The hardware testing disk didn't find any problems, so... as soon as I have time to sit down and go through it, my laptop may just be up and running again.

Today I am grumpy because I'm not sure what to do on my documentary. The opening isn't quite what I want it to be, but I'm not sure what it needs. Vocal narration? Text narration? Cooler transitions? So I'm just poking at it, playing with different things... for the last two hours... and I still have no idea ( Read more... )

Just put together the clips for the last five minutes of my documentary, and it made me get a lump in my throat and almost cry! Hell yes!

Seriously. If this thing can make people cry, I will have accomplished everything I set out to do. It's a good feeling.
