ok, so I was almost done with my post, when this stupid journal program thing deleted it......
so a quick version. I got a poodle neamed Jack this weekend. free, the girl didn't want him anymore, she cycles through pets quite frequently I guess.
My car is still broken, been in the garage for 2 weeks. Needs new wiring harness, got wrong parts, had to send back, reorganize. car won't be fixed for awhile. loaners are good.
rode a baby Gypsy Cob. owner has osteoporosis, can't get dumped on ground, thats horse's specialty. He spooks a lot. spooked at another horse coming out of bushes and I hit the ground. caught him way way way across the field we were in and tried to get back on, got half on, horse ran off, I hit ground again..... damn. Tomorrow I climb all over him, jump up and down on him, poke prod, flail, reorganize nervous system.
after getting the dog we did garlic festival and brewers festival, southern vermont stuff... was good garlicky eats and good beer. great fun for Labor day weekend.
