been awhile
So I went on vacation, to Maine for 3 nights, 4 days. It was fun. We camped 2/10ths of a mile from the beach, which was great, but there is a train that runs along the coastline, many times a night(who knew?). We spent time in the bars on Old Orchard saturday night, sunday we were lounging on the beach, then campfire lounging, monday went lighthouse touring, tuesday couple more lighthouses, watched surfers, drove down the coast, very relaxed trip in all. I learned that I don't like seafood that much though, lobster and stamers the fiorst night, then calamari and fried clams the next and then a huge bread bowl of seafood chowder the next..... so much seafood!. Had great brock oven pizza on teh was home in Portsmouth. If anyone has a chance to check out a place called the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. its a super duper restaurant, regardless of of what you're in the mood for. Not that expensive either.
Went back to work Wednesday, much to the relief of the boss man. 3 days of work, then 3 day weekend!!!! Pink hair is holding up well, looking better with a little age, not sure what to do next. Labor day weekend looks like, a garlic/ herb festival (yum!) free samples, and then the Magic Mountain beer festival, in Londonderry. Live music, lots of micro-breweries, (yum!, also). Then Arruna Hill days in northern MA somewhere, its an astronomy gathering. Lots of wicked cool geeks gathered together, and Mars looks super right now!!!! it was so bright and so big, bright red, even to the naked eye, I'm excited, Nothing like that dumb hoax about Mars looking like the moon..... but awesome none the less.
