That is correct. We bought a little "dog training kit" with a clicker, in order to clicker train Bear (the little dog). Using the clicker, you give the dog lots of positive feedback, as in whenever he makes the smallest movement towards what you want him to do, you click and give him a small treat. I was a little skeptical, but it works. The kit came with cards on how to train the dog to do various things. I was able to quickly train him to sit and lie down. And one of the kids was able to quickly train him to "gimme five". There is one card on how to teach him to find the remote for the TV. I'm looking forward to him learning that one.
