Hi, my name is Adam Cook. You might know me- then again you might not. Either way, I don't really care. Anyways, this is my live journal, so there are a few basic things you can expect to find when reading it- as you tend to find in most other live journals
Rule #1
I will never talk like a normal person
because I am writing a journal, and am expressing my innermost thoughts, I will always make an otherwise normal thought such as:
I had a bad day today. It was raining and I got a flat tire.
into something that seems profound and poetic like this:
The sky blackened today. Singing praises of ash..
why are you purple?
cry... cry... cry...
I will try my hardest to transform whatever coherent thought I have into a barely readable poetic abomination. By using confusing sentence structure and muddled grammar I will trick you into thinking I am a deep and soulful poetic genius.
Rule #2:
You can expect at least one pointless quiz per day
It doesn't matter whether you care about which salted and cured meat represents me as a person, or which "Buffy" character I am- heck, it doesn't even matter if I care. The rules of livejournal clearly state that there must be at least one posting of a completely pointless quiz per day.
Rule #3:
RaNdOm aNd OtHeRwIsE InVoLuNtarY UsE oF thE CaPs ButToN
Maybe I have a twitchy pinkie finger, maybe it's the fact that feel you won't listen to me otherwise, or maybe I just think it's cute. The truth is that I was severely beaten as a child and feel this is the only way for me to take out my pent up aggression on the world. Who's laughing now..
Rule #4
A weird floating cartoon head/animal will report my mood at every posting
It's a rule of livejournal that dates back to the very beginnings of time. You simply CAN'T post an entry without having a small animal smile or cry based on whichever emotion you happen to be feeling at the time. It's not enough to simply write about how you feel, you must SHOW the world with a small animated gif of a dancing turnip. Only then will they ever begin to grasp the feeling you are trying to convey.
It is by these rules I intend to govern my livejournal site, and to do less would be to commit journalistic blasphemy. I hope everyone who reads my writings will be enlightened as I will no doubt reveal the truths and meanings of love, nature, and life itself throughout my day to day postings. Enjoy
