So it wasn't the flu that struck Lisa a month before her wedding date. They had been worried because she was sick to her stomach and barely kept things down. Dean had had a decent day at the garage, and right now he was just tired and wanted to head home to his wife to be. A lot of the boys down there had started riding him for getting married so young, but he couldn't have been happier. He knew that he was doing the right thing. That this was it, and he wasn't going to be this happy with another girl.

"Babe?" he called out as he walked in the door, glancing around as he closed the door behind him. "You home?"

"I'm in the living room."

She had gotten bored and had put one of the decorative pillows under her shirt to see what she was going to look like with a huge stomach, but quickly tossed it to the other side of the couch.

"How was your day?"

"Not bad," he said with a sigh as he dropped down next to her, leaning in to give her a quick kiss. "Pretty normal. How was yours?"

She stayed curled up in her spot and took his kiss happily, but found a pillow again and hugged it to her chest, effectively hiding the envelope there. "Crazy. Had a fight with the caterers again. But disaster adverted and your mini pies continue to be on the menu."
