School/watching Hamlet way too much

I'm backkk. This is going to be a week of crazy posting times, yo.

So I am currently (sort of) without a computer, in that my computer has been sent off for repairs and I'm using my mom's. Which sucks, because I can't download anything and I really want to do a Hamlet picspam but I can't make caps without VLC. Life ruined, etc. Mostly I'm just bored, though.

I've watched Hamlet several times. Oh, and yeah, I should probably mention...kind of super-obsessed with David Tennant. He is fabulous. Thus why I have watched Hamlet several times. I used to hate Hamlet, thanks to the pretty mediocre high school English class where I had to read it, but I have been shown the light. The light being David Tennant, I guess? He is my Shakespeare spirit animal. (Which confuses me because I just told averita that she is my David Tennant spirit animal, so...I guess that makes her my Shakespeare spirit animal too? Does that mean that she and David Tennant are the same person? I hope not; that would mean I wasted years of our friendship doing silly things that were not at all related to David Tennant. But she's fabulous so it's all good.)

Post-orientation, I've been in touch with people at school to get things sorted out for the fall...I just got my AP score validated so I don't have to take Comp I (always nice to avoid) and I'm currently working with the undergrad English coordinator to get credit for my transfer English courses. It's been generally awesome because the people who do administrative stuff at my school are all super-helpful and knowledgeable, and can fix my problems pretty much effortlessly. At my previous school, that was not really the case and there was kind of a "sorry, can't help you" mentality from most of the administrative people. So I am enjoying the change fabulously.

college, david tennant
